A Sort of History

I first noticed "American Eagle" in 1988 on a poster on the wall of "The Old Red Lion" a well known fringe theatre in Islington. (that's London, England for my American friends:). I was performing there at the time and being a comic fan myself was a little disappointed at missing it. It was to be nine years before I actually got to see the play performed. By this time Chris Amos (the play's author) and I were working together for
Arena Touring Theatre and 'Eagle' was showing at the Library Theatre in Leighton Buzzard.
Chris originally wrote the play whilst still at Bretton Hall College and on leaving took it to Edinburgh and then on to tour nationally.

Back to the Eyrie!

Hmm. I don't like having my photo taken
