Dog Soldiers - Cast

Sausages!Sean Pertwee, son of John (Dr Who, Worzel Gummidge) Pertwee, plays the "Sarge" Sergeant Harry Wells , a seasoned campaigner who is intent on looking after his boys. Sean is an actor of considerable experience and is now a partner in a production company "Natural Nylon" with the likes of Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Jonnie Lee Miller and Sadie Frost.

Where's the superglue?Kevin McKidd (Trainspotting) received the script for "Dog Soldiers" at the stage door of the West End theatre where he was performing:

'I thought about it: is this a good idea? It's a werewolf movie; I've just been doing this really worthy play; people might look down their noses. Then I thought: No, f*** it actually, I've always wanted to do that kind of thing.'
McKidd plays Cooper, a candidate for Special Forces and all round good egg.

Where's that dog?!Liam Cunningham (First Knight, Jude and loads of others) plays Ryan the Special Forces captain and psycho.

Die you bastard!Darren Morfitt (Lots of TV."The Bill" "Grafters" also on stage played Mickey in "Blood Brothers" in the West End) plays Spoon (Phil Witherspoon) the squaddie who keeps up his fearless nutter image right to the very end. I won't spoil but a great scene.

Leslie Simpson plays rifleman Terry Milburn ,
Thomas Lockyer ("Jacob" in "Ultraviolet") plays Corporal Bruce Campbell.
Chris Robson ("Band of Brothers") plays Joe Kirkley and they're all missing the England v Germany match for this! (Sorry couldn't find piccies for these three. When I do they'll go in).

smileMegan is played by Emma Cleasby who sadly is the weak link. I just found it difficult to believe a word she said. I'll quote my wife on this one:

Of all the thousands of talented and pretty actresses they had to choose from, they chose her: she was crap!
Sorry Emma better luck next time.

Here's the beast himself. You never get more than a seconds glimpse of them in the film which is right and good. I think he looks scary anyway. If you'd like a closer look, click for the big picture.
